On Monday, June 6, 2011, the USO of Illinois, through the support of the Bank of America’s Military Affinity Support Group, The Party Trailer and Village of Bolingbrook, led by Bolingbrook Mayor Roger C. Claar, will launch the first annual USO Heartland Golf Classic, an opportunity to “Tee-Off for the Troops” and raise funds for USO of Illinois programs and services that serve over 300,000 military and military families throughout Illinois. The event is a one-of-a-kind experience for sporting enthusiasts and features a full day of golf, recreation and entertainment, including: sports celebrities; authentic vintage military aircraft and parachute artists; special activities and golf challenges at every hole; cash prizes; dinner with silent and live auction; and a chance to sponsor a premier golf experience for active duty military members.

The USO Heartland Classic will be held at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, Bolingbrook, Illinois. Located just forty minutes southwest of Chicago, Bolingbrook Golf Club combines the elements of a world-class facility and championship golf. The Club features an Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest designed championship course, an exceptional practice facility, state-of-the-art GPS-equipped golf carts and a 76,000 square foot clubhouse with men's and women's locker rooms, lounges, two full-service restaurants, and full banquet facilities.
