Ex-Boyfriend Busted In Bolingbrook: BPD

After two days in jail, this out of town man has posted bond.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A 28-year-old man from Chicago was arrested late Tuesday night by Bolingbrook Police after authorities say that Craig Bryan broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend and then struggled with the police officers who were called to the crime scene. Bryan was ultimately put in handcuffs and driven to the Will County Jail in Joliet where his bail was set at $100,000. He was charged with criminal trespass to property and resisting the arrest.

The police were called around 10:50 p.m. to the 400 block of Seminole Lane for a disturbance, reports show. The police say they learned that Bryan, who lives in the 3500 block of West Congress Parkway, Chicago, was attempting to break into the home at the back door.

"Bryan is the ex-boyfriend of the victim," police reports show. "Upon arrival officers saw Bryan just inside the back door and ordered him to stop and show his hands. Bryan failed to comply and ran up the stairs of the home. Officers followed and made contact with Bryan and the victim. Bryan would not comply with officers and after a brief struggle was taken into custody."
