Ferret Stolen From Petland: Bolingbrook Police Blotter
The ferret thief got away with the crime. But several other people were not so lucky last week in Bolingbrook.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Here's a rundown of criminal activity in the village of Bolingbrook.
March 1:
"Officers were called to the 100 block of N. Schmidt Road for the report of a domestic disturbance. Suspect was throwing objects around the residence damaging walls, furniture and ceiling fans at 2:26 p.m. Ryan Baker, 27, 425 Callery Drive, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property, following a call to the 100 block of N. Schmidt Rd. at 3:21 p.m.

March 2:
Stephanie Hanley, 35, 374 Whitewater Drive, "was charged with expired registration, disobeying traffic control, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. & Weber Rd. at 1:48 a.m."

Patrick Williams, 27, 465 S. Mary St., Coal City, "was charged with an in-state warrant, following a patrol stop on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 4:13 pm."
Luis Ugalde, 27, 231 Hays Ave., Romeoville, "was charged with domestic battery, unlawful use of weapon, resisting a peace officer and No FOID card, following a call to a business on the 1300 block of Remington Blvd. at 6:37 a.m."

Pernell Veal, 19, 429 Mallview Lane and Christian Kodom, 18, 692 Harvest Drive "were charged with retail theft from Meijer, 225 N. Weber Road, at 10:53 a.m."
"Several vehicles parked on Independence Lane, Galahad Road and Edgehill Drive had the windows shattered from a bb gun sometime between 5:15 p.m. and 10 p.m."
Ricardo Carrasco Rodriguez, 21, 152 Monterey Drive, "was charged with traffic signal violation and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Drive & Northridge Ave. at 2:33 a.m."
Dimitri Staley, 56, 703 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton "was charged with an in-state warrant and resisting a peace officer, following a traffic stop on the 100 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive at 4:42 p.m."
March 4
"Officers were called to the 300 block of Drake Avenue, for the report of a domestic disturbance at 4:45 p.m."
March 5
Antwon Allen, 20, 343 Clarendon Lane, "was charged with criminal damage of property, following a call to the 100 block of Chestnut Drive at 1:53 p.m."
"Unknown (person) concealed a ferret in his coat pocket and exited Petland, 744 E. Boughton Rd., at 11:06 am without rendering payment. Loss valued at $200."
March 6
Nicholas Sodt, 45, 231 Tallman Ave., Romeoville "was charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery, following a call to Adventist Hospital, 500 Remington Blvd., for a disruptive patient at 9 a.m."
March 7
Deshawn Danzler, 23, Chicago, was charged with delivery of controlled substances, unlawful possession of weapon by felony, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, armed habitual criminal and parole violation after a traffic stop at 9:03 p.m. at Bolingbrook Drive and Remington Boulevard.
