Festival Of Lights Winter Walk Returns To Bolingbrook
An event kick-off for the display, as well as the tree-lighting ceremony, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 4.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook's Festival of Lights Winter Walk will begin Dec. 4 and will run through Jan. 9.
An event kick-off for the display, as well as the tree-lighting ceremony, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 4.
The holiday light display is held behind Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road, and residents can stroll around the pond and enjoy the different holiday lights, including a snow globe gazebo, Christmas trees and Santa's house.

The displays are decorated by local groups and organizations and presented by the Civic & Cultural Affairs Commission, the Village said.
Visitors can check out the display after dusk until 10 p.m. for best viewing, according to the Village.

Several other special events are planned at the holiday display; including Bonfire & S'mores from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 11; hot chocolate with Santa from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 18; and senior nights on Dec. 8 and Dec. 15.
