BOLINGBROOK, IL — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store this July 3 and July 4 near Bolingbrook:

What: Bolingbrook Independence Day Celebration
Where: Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive
When: Gates open at 3 p.m. on July 4 for the event, fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
The event will also include a DJ, live entertainment, food trucks and vendors.

What: Fireworks At Dellwood Park
Where: Dellwood Park, Route 171 and Woods Drive.
When: Fireworks show will begin at dusk on July 3

Where: Three simultaneous shows at Lukancic Middle School, Volunteer Park and Discovery Park in Romeoville.
When: Fireworks shows will begin at 9:30 p.m. on July 3
The Village will hold three fireworks shows to allow residents to view from their homes. Choreographed music will be available on Star 96.7 FM radio.

What: Independence Day Extravaganza
Where: Centennial Park, 16028 W 127th St., Lemont
When: Begins at 4 p.m., fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. on July 3
Featuring DJ, food vendors, beer booth, kid's zone, kid's entertainment and ending in a fireworks show.
