Kiersten Skinner, a 2009 Bolingbrook High School graduate, has been awarded a study grant to attend the University of Bologna in Italy.
Skinner will enter the two-year Master of Science program this fall and study the conservation-restoration of cultural heritage.
The highly selective program offers less than 25 seats to international students and is a combination of science and art, taught in English. This Sunday Skinner will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in forensic chemistry and psychology, with a minor in art and philosophy from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis.
