“Do you know an owl lover?” she asks. “Then, this little owlet is a must have! This little guy brings a smile to even the gloomiest day. He is about the size of a baseball and would be a perfect decoration.”
She opened her Etsy store in October of 2011 and as acquired 20 admirers. Some share her love for crochet. Others simply have fallen for one of her little creations—like the stuffed dragon that was rated 5 stars by an anonymous reviewer.

“He is very cute and I am very happy with the quality of this little dragon,” the reviewer said. He stands around six inches tall, so he’s not too big, not too small, but perfect.”
And the Amigurumi Owlet?
He is handmade from polyester stuffing, plastic beads, polyester fiberfill, polyester filling and acrylic yarn.
“Does the owl lover in your life sew?” Amanda asks. “If so, think of getting this for a pin cushion. He’s the perfect size. Perhaps that owl lover happen to be a four-legged critter—this makes a great pet toy (though please let me know when you order so I can make sure not to use plastic eyes).”
