Senior Care Partner Expo Returns to Bolingbrook on August 20th

BOLINGBROOK — Community advocate Sheldon Watts and Lori Marschke, DuPage Township Supervisor, are hosting a Senior Care Partner Expo on Thursday, August 20 from 4 7 p.m. at the DuPage Township’s Levy Senior Center, 251 Canterbury Lane, Bolingbrook.

The free community event is designed to connect caregivers, seniors, and families with valuable resources while providing an enjoyable early evening of live entertainment, local food trucks, raffles, giveaways, and opportunities to engage with organizations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those 55 and older.

Following the tremendous response to last year's Senior Care Partner Expo, this year's event has been expanded to include even more exhibitors, service providers, and community resources.

While the Expo is open to everyone, organizers are placing special emphasis on supporting those caring for aging parents, spouses, family members, friends, or loved ones.

There is generation, those born in 1960 and later, who are not only caring for elderly parents but are also eligible for senior services.

Whether individuals are planning ahead, navigating care decisions right now, or simply seeking information about available services, attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with professionals and organizations committed to meeting the diverse needs of older adults and their caregivers.

"The Senior Care Partner Expo is about bringing our community together and ensuring that seniors and caregivers know they are not alone," said Watts. "Our goal is to make it easier for families to access trusted resources while creating an event that is welcoming, informative, and enjoyable for everyone."
