Abusive Bolingbrook Woman Jailed For New Charges
Kimberly Gavaris is a familiar face to officers at the Bolingbrook Police Department.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - This week, Bolingbrook Police officers took 50-year-old Kimberly Gavaris into custody in connection with her latest charges involving domestic violence, plus drug charges this time. In 2014, Bolingbrook Police arrested her for domestic battery as well, and she pleaded guilty in that case, also at the Will County Courthouse. Her newest charges accuse her of striking a man in her family or household on Monday "about the head" as well as kicking that man "about the body."
According to Bolingbrook Police reports, "at 12:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Monet Circle. It was reported that Kimberly Gavaris was intoxicated and arguing with family members. The argument escalated and Gavaris struck one family member and kicked another.
"Gavaris was taken into custody by officers for domestic battery. Officers located three pills of Vicodin in Gavaris’ pocket at the time of her arrest. Gavaris did not have a prescription for the controlled substance and illegally possessed the pills. Gavaris was charged with Domestic Battery and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Gavaris was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility."

A Will County judge set her bail at $20,000, but four days later, Gavaris remains locked up inside the Will County Jail. She can't come up with the necessary $2,000 to post as bail. If she does, she will be forbidden from returning to her residence in the 400 block of Bolingbrook's Monet Circle, court logs show.
She also can't have any contact with the victims.
