My name is Terry Little and my wonderful wife and I lived in Bolingbrook during the 70's and 80's. We had a great time! We had great neighbors, started the Bolingbrook Yacht Club, hosted the "Annual Cornfield Sailing Championships and Regatta" for 10 years, dabbled in politics, and met and loved a cast of characters that would make a great sit-com or maybe a latter day "Game of Thrones". I wrote a column called "Overboard" for one newspaper and then wrote "The Satire Evening Post" for the Metropolitan. We were here when the original wave pool was built, Roger Claar was first a Village Trustee and then elected Mayor and a number of well known citizens were sent off to various Federal Prisons. (I amaze my Kentucky friends by telling them about all of the felons that I have known over those years.) I hope to recount some old stories about Bolingbrook and some new stories about what I had been doing lately.
