Golf Raffle To Help Kids Participate In Park District Programs
The Foundation for Bolingbrook Parks is raffling off opportunities to play golf at surrounding golf courses. Each raffle ticket costs $25.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Foundation for Bolingbrook Parks is raffling off chances for people to play golf at golf courses in the area, officials announced Thursday. The proceeds go toward helping underprivileged families and children participate in the park district's recreation programs, including day camp, preschool and swim school.
The golf course offerings include Cantigny Golf in Wheaton, Harborside International in Chicago, Deerpath Golf Course in Lake Forest and The Woodlands at Whittaker in New Buffalo, Michigan.
Drawings for the raffle will take place Aug. 31. To enter, those interested buy tickets at the Boughton Ridge Golf Course Pro Shops, at 335 E. Boughton Road, or call 630-739-2377. Each raffle ticket costs $25 or five for $100.
