Good News - Some Excellent Products!

How many times do we buy something practical only to find that it doesn't live up to our expectations?  Sometimes we even take the item back to the store (if we can) for a refund.

Well, I wanted to acknowledge 2 items that are terrific and were bought or made locally.  The first are a set of WeatherTech floor liners (made in Da Brook!).  Sounds like a strange Mother's Day gift, but truthfully, they make me smile every time I get in or out of my  car.  The fit is perfect, they look great and are keeping dirt, leaves, etc. trapped to be easily cleaned away.  Hurrah for WeatherTech - advertised very cleverly, I might add, during the SUPER BOWL!

The 2nd item is a little towel called "EnduraCool" by Mission.  I'm sure construction workers, fisher folks and other outdoorsy types may know about this product.  I'm one of the unfortunates who cannot take the heat.  This towel, which is advertised as being at Lowe's, did the trick for me.  You wet it, wring it and place it around your neck.  Instantly cooler.  To re-cool, simply remove and snap the towel a time or two.  Put back on your neck or head and cooler once again.  You can find it at our local Lowe's in the Garden Center.  There is also a tube-like model that is a little pricier, but Lowe's carries it inside the store.

So come on - let's enjoy our Summer whether it's warm, hot, rainy, etc.  With these two TERRIFIC products, I know I will.  (Am not associated with these companies or stores.  Simply a very pleased consumer and Mom/Grammy.)
