Man Punched Woman Driving On 119th Street: Cops
The defendant lives on Joliet's West Jefferson Street, according to Bolingbrook Police.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A 30-year-old man who lives on Joliet's Jefferson Street was arrested Thursday evening after Bolingbrook Police say he began punching a woman in the chest as she was driving on 119th Street. Christopher Minger was subsequently arrested and charged with domestic battery, according to Bolingbrook Police. The incident happened near Plainfield-Naperville Road around 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 16.
After being slugged in the chest while she was driving, the victim pulled the car over, police said.
"She stopped the vehicle and Minger took her phone and keys and exited the vehicle," reports show. "Several witnesses observed the altercation as it continued in the roadway. The witnesses notified police and offered assistance to the victim."

From there, Minger began walking along the street and he "was quickly located by officers," Bolingbrook Police reports show.
Minger was put in handcuffs and taken for a ride to the Will County Jail in downtown Joliet. He appeared before a Will County Courthouse judge on Friday for a bail hearing. His bail was set at $15,000 and he remained in the county facility on Saturday.

"The victim did not require medical assistance," police reports indicate.
Although jail logs listed Minger as living on Haller Avenue in Romeoville, the Bolingbrook Police reports show he lives in the 2200 block of West Jefferson Street in Joliet.
