High School Football: Bolingbrook Girds for Showdown at H-F
The Raiders will look to slow the Vikings' high-powered offense in a battle for sole possession of first place in the Southwest Suburban Blue Conference.
They don't get much bigger than this—not during the regular season, anyway.
Bolingbrook faces Homewood-Flossmoor on Friday night in a football battle between two unbeatens playing for sole possession of first place in the Southwest Suburban Blue Conference and potentially a top seed in the playoffs.
The Raiders (6-0, 4-0) have outscored their opponents 203-22 and have allowed no more than seven points in any one single game. Homewood-Flossmoor (6-0, 4-0) is averaging 37.3 points and three times has scored 48 or more points in games this season.
So, something is going to have to give here.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Homewood-Flossmoor.
