Hilton Name—and a New Hotel—Coming to Bolingbrook

When you think of grand hotel magnates, you think of Conrad Hilton.

And, soon, you will be able to book a room in a hotel that carries his family's name on the door in Bolingbrook.

The Bolingbrook Village Board approved a plan to construct a five-story, 129-room Hilton Garden Inn and Suites at 135 Remington Blvd. during a recent meeting, according to a report in the Suburban Life.

The newest addition to the Hilton arsenal will be developed on an eight-acre parcel and will offer hotel suites, an indoor pool, a full-service restaurant and lounge and ample conference room and banquet space, according to the report.

The Suburban Life report said construction crews will break ground soon and expect to complete construction of the hotel on time for its opening in March 2015.
