Humphrey Middle School Gets New Assistant Principal

BOLINGBROOK, IL — An educator with 10 years of teaching and administrative experience at a junior high school in Riverside is the new Assistant Principal at Humphrey Middle School in Bolingbrook.

Barbi K. Chisholm succeeds Lisa Allen who is now an Assistant Principal at Bolingbrook High School.
A graduate of Knox College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English-Creative Writing, she holds two Master of Education degrees, one in secondary education from DePaul University and one in educational organization and leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Chisholm taught language arts and social studies for nine years at Hauser Junior High School in Riverside before becoming the school’s Student Support Coordinator. During that time she served on the District 96 All-District Leadership team, the district’s Language Arts and Social Studies Committee, and the district’s English/Language Arts Common Core Alignment Team.
