Independence Elementary Gets New Assistant Principal

BOLINGBROOK, IL - The Valley View School District 365U Board of Education has approved the selection of Michelle Stoehrmann to the position of Assistant Principal at Independence Elementary School. Stoehrmann is returning to VVSD and Independence Elementary where she served as a special education teacher from 2004-2007. For the last eleven years, Stoehrmann served as a middle school assistant principal in Indian Prairie School District 204.

From 2007-2013, she was assistant principal at Thayer J. Hill Middle School in Naperville. In 2013, Stoehrmann moved to Gordon Gregory Middle School in Naperville where she currently serves. Stoehrmann began her career in education soon after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education from Carthage College in 2003.

In 2007, she completed her Master of Education in Administration and Leadership from Benedictine University.
