Jamie McGee Elementary Gets New Assistant Principal

BOLINGBROOK, IL - The Valley View School District 365U Board of Education has approved the selection of Kristina Hollinger to the position of Assistant Principal at Jamie McGee Elementary School. Hollinger is currently the assistant principal at Unity Junior High School in Cicero District 99. Prior to becoming a junior high assistant principal, Hollinger was a 6th grade teacher at District 99’s Drexel Elementary School, a position she held from 2012-2017.

She began her teaching career in 2007 as a 5th grade language arts and kindergarten-8th grade Spanish teacher at Ashburn Lutheran School in Chicago. Hollinger graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University in 2007. Three years later, she earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University in River Forest, and then in 2017 earned her second Master of Arts from Concordia in Principal Leadership.
