Jane Addams Middle School Gets New Interim Assistant Principal

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Humphrey Middle School Social Studies Key Leader Justin Ipema has been named Interim Assistant Principal at Jane Addams. He succeeds Teresa Burrell who is now principal at the Bolingbrook middle school.

Ipema, who has been at Humphrey since the 2005-06 school year, is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana with a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education. He also holds a Master’s Degree in education leadership and educational administration from Concordia University.

He has served on several school and district-level committees including the Building Instructional Team and the VVSD Social Studies Committee, and has coaches the boys basketball team, the girls basketball team, baseball, softball, track and field, and the Chess Team.
