Kinetic Dance Company Dazzles in Disney!
Bolingbrook's Kinetic Dance Company entertained and energized the crowds of Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida!
Nineteen members of the Kinetic Dance Company traveled to Orlando July 1-4th to participate in a Walt Disney World Performing Arts Workshop. The girls took a master class in Epcot, at the backstage studios, by professional Disney dancers, one being a former Rockette! The girls also learned new technique, Disney routines, participated in a mock Disney audition, and even got a special guest appearance by Goofy to show off their dance routine!
On July 3rd, the girls performed a non-stop, entertaining, 25 minute show choreographed by three of the Kinetic Dance Company choreographers: Kim, Kristyn, and Shannon. The dancers performed at the Waterside Stage in Downtown Disney where many spectators stopped to watch their energizing show!
One evening all of the dancers and family celebrated the trip with an awards dinner at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. The Kinetic Dance Company Disney dancers included: Alaina, Samantha, Emily, Maggie, Cira, Alex and Andie, Michaela, Raighan, Jada, Bricia, Hannah, Mia, Erica, Lexi, Abby, Mandy, Alivia, and Sam. Congratulations to all the dancers on their hard work!
