Kinetic Dance Company Marches in Bolingbrook Pathways Parade

The dancers and parents of Kinetic Dance Company (KDC) were thrilled to participate in the 51st annual Bolingbrook Pathways Parade on Sunday, September 11. This year’s theme was Sweet 16. KDC decked out seven wagons and a pickup truck in a Candy Land game theme. Each wagon was a different ‘land’ of the game. The Dancers wore colored shirts to match the trail on the game board and danced to “Sunshine and Lollipops” by Lesley Gore all along the parade route. The Bolingbrook Parade Commission awarded KDC with the Judge’s Award for best overall parade entry.

The Kinetic Dance Company, a dance performance and competition group, is a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization which resides at Dance Dimensions in Bolingbrook. They enjoy working with and being part of the community. It is also with community support that they can continue to pursue dance at this higher level.
