Lexus Goes Stolen In Bolingbrook: Blotter

These were numerous crimes happening in the village of Bolingbrook of late.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - There has been criminal activity taking place in Bolingbrook. The following incidents were investigated by Bolingbrook Police over the past several days.

November 9

Police responded to a residential burglary in the 100 block of South Pinecrest Road. A utility door was forced open to gain entry between 9 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. Two laptops were taken. Loss valued at $2,000.

November 9

Nehemiah Beckley, 31, 300 block of Pheasant Chase Drive, was charged with resisting a peace officer, possession of stolen property and possession of cannabis, following a traffic stop on Lot V of Fernwood Drive.

November 9

Officers responded to the 200 block of Lawton Drive for a residential burglary. The front door was kicked in to gain entry between 7:48 am – 2:35 pm. An IPad, cash and numerous pieces of jewelry were taken.

November 10

Emmanuel Harper, 19, 8921 Sproat Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with no insurance, driving on a suspended license, driver seat belt violation and an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Remington Blvd. & Territorial Ct.

A Dodge Caravan was taken from the parking lot on the 300 block of Whitewater Drive.

Hermenegido Gomez, 77, North Aurora, was charged with resisting a peace officer, two counts of DUI, improper lane usage and failure to signal, following a traffic stop at Boughton Rd. & Weber Rd. at 10:18 p.m.

November 12

A vehicle parked on the 500 block of Buckingham Way was rummaged through overnight. Various tools, a GPS and set of keys were taken. Loss valued at $4,000.

November 13

A 2009 Lexus was taken from the 300 block of N. Schmidt Rd. at 4:35 pm.

Rashas Branch, 44, Aurora, was charged with no insurance, improper lane usage, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving on a suspended license, following a traffic stop at Bolingbrook Dr. & Lily Cache Ln. at 10:50 pm.

November 13

US currency and a cell phone were taken from a coat pocket left in a break room on the 800 block of S. Weber Rd. between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Loss valued at $150.

The following crimes all occurred on November 14:

Officers responded to T-Mobile, 745 E. Boughton Rd., for the report of a burglary. Someone used a brick to break the glass door and removed numerous IPhones from display and exited the store into a vehicle at 1:33 a.m.

Officers responded to AT&T, 702 E. Boughton Rd., for a burglary. Someone used a brick to break the glass door and remove IPhones and an Ipad from the display and exited the store into a vehicle at 1:34 a.m.

A glass door was broken by someone on the 200 block of Lindsey Ln. at 12:17 a.m.

A tire was slashed to a vehicle parked on the 100 block of. N Bolingbrook Dr. at 7:05 p.m.

A package was taken from a doorstep on the 200 block of Hywood Lane at 8:32 p.m. Loss valued at $120.

Joseph Blakemore, 32, 322 Woodcreek Dr., was charged with possession cannabis, resisting a peace officer and two in-state warrants and Shawn Malzahn, 31, 208 Shady Ln., was charged with aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer, in-state warrant and unlawful use of weapon following a traffic stop at Creekside Dr. & Valley Dr. at 7:38 p.m.
