No Gun, But Weed Found On Bolingbrook Student: Cops
The student ran out of the building, after the school resource officer confronted them, police said.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook High School was placed on lockdown Thursday morning after a foot pursuit on school grounds after the school resource officer learned a student may be armed with a gun.
When the officer confronted the student, they ran from the officer and out of the school building.
After a short foot chase, the student was taken in custody by the officer, police said.

No firearm was found on the student, but the student was in possession of cannabis, police said.
The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution, according to police. Charges are pending against the student, police said.
