Loud Car Stereo Leads To Arrest For Cocaine, Marijuana: Cops
Bolingbrook Police hauled away Kenyarde Sharky Williams in handcuffs.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - It is not against the law in Will County to roll down your windows and play the music in your car but sometimes when the music gets a little too loud, the police get involved. Last week, the Bolingbrook Police Department arrested 39-year-old Bolingbrook resident Kenyarde Sharky Williams after police say the music coming from his white Chevrolet Cruz was a little too loud. Ultimately, though, Williams went to the Will County Jail because he had both marijuana and cocaine with him, police reports show.
Williams' troubles with the police began at 10:42 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, when Bolingbrook officers on routine patrol "heard loud music emanating from a white Chevrolet Cruz which was westbound on Blackhawk Lane. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the 200 block of Cheyenne Court for the loud amplification," reports show.
Once Williams pulled over, officers say they saw "the driver attempt to hide an item in the vehicle. "
