Man Caught Dealing Pot From Car Trunk, Police Say
The defendant is not from Bolingbrook.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Bolingbrook Police have arrested a 25-year-old man from Hanover Park after police say he was caught dealing drugs out of the trunk of his car last week in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive. Last Thursday night, police say they saw Rashaun Hairl selling his drugs shortly before 9 p.m. in the 200 block of South Bolingbrook Drive.
"Hairl transferred a bag from the trunk into another vehicle and drove south on Bolingbrook Drive," reports indicate.
Bolingbrook Police say they already knew Hairl had a suspended driver's license and an active warrant for his arrest. When officers turned on their sirens and lights to make Hairl pull over in the 100 block of Lily Circle, "Hairl stopped his car and immediately attempted to flee on foot," reports show.

After a short chase, Bolingbrook Police officers say they captured Hairl and then the police found 2 pounds of marijuana in his car, reports indicate.
Hairl was taken to the Will County Jail where he remained as of Tuesday. His bail has been set at $78,000 after being charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and driving on a suspended license and obstructing a police officer.
