Man Thrusts Knife Into Victim's Body During Work Argument: Cops
This defendant's bail might be lower than you would expect.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A 54-year-old man from Chicago is accused of pulling out a knife at a business in Bolingbrook and stabbing his victim numerous times last week, Bolingbrook Patch has learned. Now, Carnell Willis finds himself locked away from society, behind steel bars at the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Willis faces felony charges of aggravated battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.
After learning of the criminal charges against Willis, Patch reached out to the Bolingbrook Police Department for information about the crime.
The police department said that their officers were sent out around 4:35 a.m. last Wednesday, Nov. 21, to the 1000 block of Windham Parkway for a call of someone stabbed.

"Upon arrival officers ascertained that the offender, Carnell Willis, (54) years of age, from the 7600 block of Carpenter Street, Chicago was involved in an argument with a co-worker," police reports show. "While arguing, the victim threw a metal cup at Willis. A physical altercation started and Willis pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times."
According to Bolingbrook Police, the victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. As for Willis, he was handcuffed and taken to the Will County Jail. He remained in the county jail as of Tuesday night. His bail was set at $150,000.

If he posts bond, Willis must stay away from the victim and the victim's address in Chicago Heights, court records reflect.
