Meet This Weeks Adorable Adoptable Pets, Ninja & Twilight

NINJA (cat)
Ninja is a big guy (19 pounds) who’s like a lovable teddy bear. He recently came to HHAS with his sister Ninja when their family lost their home. He likes to be brushed and have his belly rubbed. He loves to chase rope-type toys, but he only plays for a little while before he needs a break. Once he lives life out of a cage, he’ll likely slim down and play more. This gentle giant is fine with other cats and would likely be good with kids. It would be wonderful for Ninja and Twilight to be adopted together, but it isn’t necessary.

TWLIGHT (cat)
Twilight and her brother Ninja recently came to HHAS when their family lost their home. Twilight is quiet and gentle, but she’s confused and anxious about her new situation. She prefers to stay in her cage for pets and chin scratches for now. She doesn’t really play yet, but we’re hopeful she will soon. It’s likely she’ll come out of her shell once she’s in a safe, loving forever home. She gets along with other cats and would likely do well with kids. It would be wonderful for Twilight and Ninja to be adopted together, but it isn’t necessary.

Adoptions are held at the Bolingbrook PetSmart on Weber Road from 1-3 on Sundays and 5-7 on Wednesdays. If the cat you’re looking for isn’t there or those times don’t work for you, please call Humane Haven Animal Shelter (630-378-4208) for more information or an appointment.

All Humane Haven cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and have their distemper and rabies shots.
