Meth, Gun Found During Bolingbrook Traffic Stop: Police
Two people from Missouri were arrested on drugs, weapons charges.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A man and woman from Missouri were arrested Monday in Bolingbrook after a traffic stop turned up meth and a semi-automatic gun in their car, police said. Bolingbrook Police Lt. Anthony Columbus said police stopped a black Ford pickup for registration violation just after 8 p.m. near Route 53 and I-55. During the stop, officers learned that the passenger, William C. Moore Sr., 43, of St. Louis, had an active arrest warrant.
A search of the car turned up a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, plus drug paraphernalia and a semi-automatic Smith and Wesson pistol and loaded magazine, Columbus said.
Moore was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, improper use of registration, suspended registration, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug equipment. His bond was set at $15,000, and he remained in custody as of Tuesday afternoon, according to jail records.

The driver, Ashley Schuenemeyer, 32, of Imperial, Missouri, was charged with improper use of registration, suspended registration, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug equipment. She was due in Will County court Tuesday afternoon.
