Miles Spit At Police And Damaged BPD Squad: Cops

Raven Miles is being held in jail on a $50,000 bail.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Raven Miles finds herself in detention at the Will County Jail based on a disturbing encounter Thursday with Bolingbrook Police officers, police reports show. Back in November, Bolingbrook Police took an incident report about people apparently living at a dwelling in the 1400 block of Lily Cache Lane without the property owner's permission, reports show. In turn, Miles gave the police a copy of a purported rental agreement, police reports reflect.

"It was later determined that the lease presented by Miles was fraudulent and forged and the property was illegally occupied," reports state.

Bolingbrook got a warrant for her arrest. On Thursday, officers came to the residence in the 1400 block of Lily Cache Lane. There, Miles was located in a most unusual spot.

"Miles was hiding in the trunk of a car in the driveway," Bolingbrook police stated.

Then things got ugly, police reports reflect. "Miles spit at officers and struggled against officers," reports state. She was eventually handcuffed and put in the back of a Bolingbrook squad car.

"During transport, Miles began kicking the squad car door, damaging the door frame," police reports state.

According to Bolingbrook police reports, Miles was booked into the Will County jail on two counts of burglary, two counts of forgery, one count of theft by deception, one count of aggravated battery, one count of resisting a police officer and one count of criminal damage to government property.

She has a $50,000 bail, meaning she needs to come up with $5,000 cash in order to post bond.

Miles turns 23 years old on Tuesday, jail logs indicate. Jail records indicated that she had address in Richton Park.
