Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Involving Semi-Truck: Bolingbrook Police

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A motorcyclist has died after a traffic crash at Remington Boulevard and Dalton Lane on Wednesday, according to a news release from Bolingbrook Police.

The crash happened at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, and involved a motorcycle and a semi tractor-trailer, police said.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to an area hospital, and was later pronounced dead, police said. The identification of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Of of 3:45 p.m., Remington Boulevard was closed in both directions between 1401 Remington and 1455 Remington, while the Bolingbrook Police Department Traffic Unit investigated the crash, police said.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area and consider alternative routes for their commute until the investigation is completed.
