3 Taken To Hospital After Crash On Remington In Bolingbrook: Cops

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Three people were taken to a local hospital after a traffic crash on Thursday afternoon in Bolingbrook, according to Bolingbrook police. Multiple lanes were closed on Remington Boulevard near Brookview Lane as police investigated the crash.

The crash happened at 2:03 p.m. Thursday, and police said one of the vehicles was traveling eastbound on Remington Boulevard before Brookview Lane, when it struck the curb, causing the vehicle to spin out of control.

The vehicle drove into the westbound Remington Boulevard traffic lanes, causing a second vehicle to strike the first vehicle, according to police. The vehicle impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and strike a fence.

The Bolingbrook Fire Department arrived at the scene and extricated a driver from one of the vehicles due to entrapment, police said. Three people were taken to an area hospital for treatment, according to police.
