Multiple School Buses Crash In Bolingbrook, 14 Students Hurt

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Fourteen students and one adult were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries after a crash involving multiple school buses on Tuesday, Bolingbrook Police said.

Police said the crash happened at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at Lily Cache Lane and Creekside Drive. Westbound traffic was backed up on Lily Cache, and a school bus leaving Bolingbrook High School struck the rear of another bus, causing that bus to hit the rear of another bus, police said.

The buses were carrying high school students at the time of the crash, according to police.

Two of the buses were towed, and the road is now reopened, police said.
