New Sunset Park Playground Open In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The new Sunset Park playground is now open, the Bolingbrook Park District shared on its Facebook page. The park, at 1500 Waterside Drive, had its 21-year-old playground equipment replaced, according to the park district website.

The park district still has several projects underway around the community, according to its website. A new playground is also going to be added at the DuPage River Greenway trailhead at Royce Road.

That project has an anticipated completion in the fall.

An additional parking lot is also planned for Indian Boundary Park, which will add 20-30 parking stalls. The project will begin in the fall and finish by the start of winter, according to the park district website.
