Darrell was employed as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the American Pool Association. A great organizer of fun events, he ran many area pool leagues, was a former manager of the Bolingbrook Men's travel softball team, and any chance he had he would get out and fish (his other favorite pastime) with his many fishing buddies, Dad Jerome being #1. The semi-annual trip to scenic Cass Lake in Minnesota provided so many great memories.
