1 Person Shot After 'Domestic Dispute' In Bolingbrook: Police

The shooter has been identified, and police said this is "an isolated, family-related incident."

BOLINGBROOK, IL — One person was shot by a family member during an argument on Tuesday in Bolingbrook, according to police.

At 2:30 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of West Robinhood Way for a report of a person shot, police said. When they arrived, officers learned the victim had been shot by a family member. The shooter fled westbound on foot from the scene, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment, police said. The shooter has been identified, and police said this is "an isolated, family-related incident."

Police continue to canvass the area and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
