As 4-Year-Old Daughter Fights for Life, an Online Fundraiser is Launched for Mother and Son Killed in I-55 Crash
The 4-year-old girl has undergone 2 major surgeries since Saturday's car wreck, supporters say.

Family and friends are recalling Yesenia Quintero, 25, and her young son, Isaac, as “two new beautiful angels who were taken away from us too soon.”
Quintero and two-year-old Isaac were both killed Saturday afternoon in a violent wreck on the Interstate 55 frontage road in Bolingbrook.

Police believe that the family was traveling southbound near 220 E. Frontage Road when another car veered off I-55 and struck their vehicle, ABC-7 Chicago reported.
The accident remains under investigation by Illinois State Police.

Supporters have started an online GoFundMe campaign to support the Quintero and Manzanares families in their time of tragic loss.
Another child riding in the car, Quintero’s 4-year-old daughter, Joslyn, remains hospitalized fighting for her life. Joslyn has undergone two major life-saving surgeries since the accident, according to the family’s GoFundMe page.
“Yesenia and Isaac are remembered by family and friends as the wonderful, loving and sweet people that they were. They have left us with great memories that will never fade; full of laughter, love and overall pure happiness.”
Supporters are asking for donations to help Quintero’s husband, Danny, offset the costs of hospital and funeral expenses, as well as attorney fees.
“[At] this moment in time we [hope that we] as family and friends can find it in our hearts to lend a helping hand to the Manzanares and Quintero families. So they can properly mourn the loss of a wife, a daughter, a friend and their beautiful son/grandson.”
