Pelican Harbor Indoor Aquatic Park Opens for Open Swim
Indoor Aquatic Park to Open on Saturdays and Sundays
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. – Starting Saturday, February 13, Pelican Harbor Indoor Aquatic Park will open for open swim time slots. On Saturdays and Sundays, guests will be able to register for two-hour time blocks (noon-2:00 pm or 2:30-4:30 pm). Registration is currently available.
Fees are $7 per person with a valid resident ID and $10 for nonresidents. Time slots will have a maximum capacity of 40 and must reach a minimum of 25 people to avoid being cancelled. Open swim time slots can be can be reserved at www.bolingbrookparks.org/openswim.
As part of the successful referendum ask in 2018, the renovated Bolingbrook & Aquatic Complex will be available for guests to use. This includes the renovated aquatic locker rooms and all-new family changing rooms. Other amenities available in the aquatic park include:

- Zero-depth entry pool (set at 85 degrees)
- Two water slides – must be 42” tall to ride
- Parkie the Pelican tot slide
- Tumble Buckets
To keep everyone safe, masks are required for anyone over the age of two in the facility, on the pool deck, and waiting in line for the slides. Masks are not required in the activity pool or going down the slides. It is advised to bring a cloth mask or additional masks in case your mask gets wet.
“We’ve waited patiently to be able to open up the indoor aquatic park for people to come swim,” said Sarah Sielisch, aquatic manager. “Now that we’re opening, we’re excited to see people having fun!”

The Bolingbrook Park District is a public parks and recreation agency located in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
