Pelican Swim Team Honored By Bolingbrook Board
The Pelicans won the division conference championship on July 30, which was hosted at Pelican Harbor Indoor Aquatic Park.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — At its Tuesday meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board honored the Bolingbrook Pelicans swim team on its Northern Illinois Swim Conference Division D championship.
The Bolingbrook Pelicans are a recreational swim team, which swims out of the Bolingbrook Park District, and was founded in 2013, according to the proclamation honoring the team.
The swimmers range in age from 5 to 18, and can have between 50 and 100 swimmers on the team in a season.

The Pelicans won the division conference championship on July 30, which was hosted at Pelican Harbor Indoor Aquatic Park. The team scored 317 points at the competition, taking first place overall.
