Portillo's Offers $1 Dogs For National Hot Dog Day

Portillo's will celebrate National Hot Dog Day on Wednesday, July 19, by offering a deal on 'dogs. Customers can get a regular-sized hot dog for $1 with the purchase of any sandwich, entree salad, entree pasta or ribs, while supplies last. The deal is good all day long at all Portillo's locations.

"The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) estimates that Americans will eat seven billion hot dogs during the season which runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day," Portillo's said. "That’s 818 hot dogs per second and more than a third of the hot dogs eaten per year!"

The $1 hot dog deal does not apply to online orders or catering orders. Chili dogs are not included. Visit the website to find a Portillo's near you.
