Pretzels and Cheese, 5K Returns to The Promenade Bolingbrook

This United States Track and Field certified (USATF# 12023-JW) 5k event winds through The Promenade Bolingbrook and surrounding neighborhoods. Strollers and walkers are welcome to join the event. Stroller riders are free but will not receive a race shirt. Registered runners must be at least 5 years old.

The Cheesy Pretzel is back! All participants in the 5k and 1 mile walk will receive an order of Bar Louie's pretzel bites and cheese! (Learn More)

5k Registration Fee:

• $35, if registered by October 7, 2021 at 04:59 pm - cheesypretzel5k.com
• $40 on race day

1 Mile Walk Registration Fee: Participants in the 1 Mile Walk will follow a course through the Promenade property (an untimed fun event).

• $25, if registered by October 7, 2021. at 04:59 pm
• $30 on race day

Pre-registration closes on October 7th at 5:00 pm CT. Race day registration will be available beginning at 6:30 am ($40 for 5k, $30 for 1 Mile Walk) near the start line at The Promenade Bolingbrook. The Cheesy Pretzel 5k and 1 Mile Walk runs rain or shine.

Event Agenda:

• 7:30 am Warm-up
• 8:00 am 5k start time
• 8:05 am 1 Mile Walk start time
• 9:15 am Pretzels, Cheese, Refreshments, and the official awards ceremony

There will be an awards presentation for the 5k event following the finish of the race. Awards presented to overall male and female and to the top finishers in each age group of men and women (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+).
