The Promenade Bolingbrook Debuts Holiday Lights On Saturday
The event kicks off on Nov. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring local entertainment, photos with Santa, vendors and more.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — With less than two months until Christmas Day, many communities are starting to hold holiday lightings, including at The Promenade Bolingbrook.
The shopping center, at 631 E. Boughton Road, will debut Holiday Magic in Motion, on Nov. 11, according to a release.
The Promenade Bolingbrook said "sparkling lights and surprising augmented reality" will be a part of its new holiday decor experience.

There will be 11 illuminated displays, including a gift box and candy canes, as well as walk-through bell and ornament. The traditional Christmas tree will also stand in The Promenade roundabout, according to the shopping center.
Each magical item includes a gift tag that allows visitors to scan a QR code and discover an augmented reality experience on their phones (no app required).

The event is free and open to the public.
The Promenade Bolingbrook said the holiday decor will remain through Jan. 7.
