Recreation @ Home Programs Bring the Fun to Bolingbrook Residents
Bolingbrook Park District offering programs where you can learn new skills, socialize, compete in trivia, and more!

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. – With the changing environment and with facilities closed, Bolingbrook Park District is bringing the fun to residents’ homes. With a new slate of fun “Recreation @ Home” programs, people can enjoy the fun of recreation while practicing safe social distancing. Program offerings include things like family trivia nights, cooking and book clubs, and more!

- Open up the “Recreation @ Home” digital brochure
- Click the registration code in the program you want to register for
- After you complete registration, you will receive an email with information on how to log-in to your virtual class and what you need to attend.
“Our staff got really creative on how we can bring the fun to people’s homes,” said executive director, Ron Oestreich. “We miss seeing everyone at our facilities, but I know the programs our staff have created will keep the fun going until we can open our doors again.”

The majority of these classes will be conducted through ZOOM. Registration will close 24 hours prior to the start date of the program.
The Bolingbrook Park District is celebrating 50 years of “Where the fun is!” throughout 2020. The public park and recreation agency located in Bolingbrook, Illinois operates two community centers, an indoor/outdoor aquatic park, golf course, banquet hall and restaurant, two fitness centers, two outdoor skate parks, a sports complex, nature center and conservation area, and 49 parks along with their many playgrounds, picnic shelters and over 1,087 acres of land.
