Red Ribbon Bakeshop Open In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Red Ribbon Bakeshop is now open in Bolingbrook. Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said on her Facebook that the Village welcomed the business to town on Friday.
This is only Red Ribbon Bakeshop's second store in Illinois, she said.
The bakeshop is located at 753 E. Boughton Road, which was formerly an LA Tan.

The business' website states that open hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
According to Red Ribbon Bakeshop's website, the company was founded in 1979 and became one of the largest bakeshops in the Philippines. It has over 500 locations worldwide, with 36 locations in the United States.

The stores sell cakes, rolls, sweet pastries, empanadas, as well as some meals like Pancit Palabok, a signature noodle dish, and Arroz Calda, a rice and chicken porridge.
