Register For A Cheesy 5K In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Cheesy Pretzel 5K and 1-mile walk will return to the Promenade Bolingbrook in October. The race will begin at 8 a.m. on Oct. 9.

According to the event website, the USATF certified 5K winds through the Promenade Bolingbrook and surrounding neighborhoods. All participants in both the 5K and 1-mile walk will get an order of Bar Louie's Pretzel Bites and cheese.

If you register by Sept. 30, you will also receive a long-sleeved shirt. Strollers and walkers are welcome to join the event, according to the event website.

It is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile walk. The price will increase for the 5K after Aug. 31. Awards will be given to the top male and female finisher in each age group.

The race is a charity of choice program, which allows participants to raise money for their favorite local charity.
