Rogaine Thief Still On Loose: Bench Warrant

A bench warrant for his arrest was issued last week.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Lyle Curtis Skala is a convicted thief. He was convicted of retail theft here in Will County in 2016. Now, Skala is a wanted man once again. This time, the Bolingbrook Police Department is hot on his trail. In Bolingbrook, Skala allegedly committed multiple thefts inside the Meijer store on East Boughton Road between Feb. 21 and March 31. One of the felony theft charges alleges that Skala stole "razor blades and over the counter medication" that contained a value of more than $300. According to the complaint, Skala is also charged with stealing Rogaine and "Plan B medication."

In sum, Skala faces three felony counts of retail theft. On April 12, Will County Judge Ed Burmila signed a $50,000 bench warrant for Skala's arrest. However, his whereabouts remain a mystery. His previous jail logs show him as having an address in the 500 block of West 14th Street in Chicago. He is 42 years old.
