Romeoville Man With Loaded Gun Tosses Drugs Out Window: Police

Sergio Alfaro has hired the Chuck Bretz Law Firm to represent him.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - A 28-year-old Romeoville man arrested last week on multiple felony charges is no longer in jail after posting 10 percent of his $300,000 bail. Bolingbrook Police say that Sergio Alfaro rolled down his window and threw a bag of marijuana out the window of his pickup truck just before 7 p.m. last Thursday, Oct. 18, as police officers were trying to pull him over.

Officers were pursuing his Dodge pickup after Alfaro did not use his turning signal when he changed lanes on Bolingbrook Drive as he approached Lily Cache Lane, police reports state.

After Alfaro turned on Lily Cache, the Bolingbrook squad car's blue and red lights were activated. Alfaro subsequently tossed the bag out of his moving truck, police said. Other Bolingbrook officers were called to the scene.
