Senior Care Company Opens In Bolingbrook

Senior Helpers opened at 484 W. Boughton Road, Suite B.

BOLINGBROOK, IL —Senior Helpers, a provider of personalized in-home senior care,is now open in Bolingbrook. The franchise is managed and operated by Kara Fairhurst, and will serve senior citizens and their families in Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Darien, Joliet and surrounding towns, according to a release from the business.

Senior Helpers’ trained caregivers help local seniors continue to enjoy the comfort of their own home despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges, the business said in a release.

Fairhurst has experience working with local children’s charities and promoting events for seniors, according to a release from the business. After seeing how much of a difference it made for her own grandmother to remain at home while receiving care, she is dedicated to ensuring the health and wellbeing of the elderly population in Bolingbrook, and alleviating the stresses associated with caregiving for families and loved ones, a release states.

Senior Helpers' caregivers are trained to offer the highest level of care possible based on the company’s Senior Gems® Alzheimer’s and Dementia care program, according to the business. The company also has a Parkinson’s Care Program, a specialized training program for their caregivers created in conjunction with leading experts from the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Centers of Excellence network.
