Promenade's Squad Car Night To Honor Steve Alexander
There's even a police officer dunk tank where you can get even with someone who gave you a speeding ticket.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - In two days, from 5 to 8 p.m., on Friday, July 13, the Bolingbrook Police Department will come together to host the department's second annual Squad Car Night. This year's event will be in memory of Officer Steve Alexander, who died last December when he and his family were killed in a car crash in Ireland. Alexander was the catalyst behind last year's squad car night which is held at The Promenade Bolingbrook Mall, 631 E. Boughton Road.
The event promo reads, "Come see squad cars from all around the area."

- A Parade of Lights at dusk.
- Bagpipes and drums of the Emerald Society
- Kids activities, including a rock climbing wall and a tyke train.
- Rock Bottom Restaurant serving food outside.
- A "Dunk A Cop" tank.
On Tuesday, the Bolingbrook Facebook page for the event announced, "We have some impressive vehicles showing up. SWAT, Command Vehicles, new and classic squads. But as always, we have room for more."
The Naperville Police Department was praised on Facebook for announcing that it is participating and sending this vehicle to the event.
