Firefighters Battle Apartment Building Blaze In Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, IL - On Wednesday evening, Northern Illlinois FireGround announced that Bolingbrook firefighters were battling a working structure fire in the village of Bolingbrook. The social media public safety emergency site called it a box alarm working structure fire. The fire was at the Promenade Apartments in the 500 block of Preston Drive. The area encompasses several detached apartment buildings. The fire occurred inside a three-story apartment complex, Patch was told.

"Heavy fire through the roof of a multi unit" dwelling, Northern Illinois indicated.
