Student-Directed Plays to Hit the Stage at Bolingbrook HS

Admission to all performances is free but donations will be accepted.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook High School students will cast, direct and produce three short plays from The Bullying Collection on Friday, Sept. 23.

Senior Tess Schaeflein will present “I Was There,” junior Sean Miller will head up the production of “F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.” and junior Joe Callahan will direct “Dolphin.” Senior Steven Drovie will serve as Student Technical Director for all three.

The evening will include two performances at 5 and 7 p.m. in the Claar Family Auditorium. Both will immediately be followed by a short show by BHS’s A-Wing It! Improv Troupe.

Admission to all performances is free but any donations will be used to fund next year’s student-directed performances and for scholarships for theatre students.

David Morrison and Mark Wayne are assisting with the Sept. 23 productions.
